1, i think there is a lack of females in video games because they are sometimes stereotyped as the weaker sex so people might not believe that what their character in the game has just done that a woman in real life could do the same thing and they are sometimes in video games such as tomb raider but most of the time the main character is male. 

2, patriarchal society is when men control women, in my opinion, this doesn't happen as much as it used to but sometimes it does still happen and it doe happen in media I don't think I live in a patriarchal society because things are quite equal and also most things are now are shared against different genders

its showing young impressionable kids that blue and cars (sprinty) are for the boys and pink and dolls is for the girls so it's not saying anything but it suggests that there are 2 types to choice from pink which is associated with girls and blue is associated with boys so that is telling them witch one they could have because of there gender 

5, for there to be more equality advertise everything as unisex so no one is left out and if its a product being sold sell it to all genderes in stead of just for men and women
